Quartz
Quartz slabs are comprised of up to 93% natural crushed quartz. It makes them a choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops that is minimal maintenance. These are engineered or man made with natural materials. Quartz is not as heat resistant as natural stone due to the polymers, but a good hot plate will take care of that.
Quartz is generally considered very modern and streamlined. It is considerably more expensive than natural stone unless you are wanting exotic stone.
